Rafael Nadal: 'I am not ready to move from Mallorca to another place'

For Rafael Nadal, living in Manacor, Spain, is one of the most beautiful things in life. The Spanish player always tries to spend time at home out of the competition. 'I am more than happy where I am living', said Nadal.

'I am not ready to change Mallorca for another place, no? I love where I am. I have few things there that I cannot find here, for example. And for sure here there are a few things that I cannot find in Mallorca, too. But if I have to say something, to spend two weeks, is probably the right place to be in New York.

To have a quality life, I will say Mallorca. Manacor is really different from New York. You cannot compare a village to probably one of the centers, biggest cities, busy cities of the world. The life is completely different in Manacor than in New York.

Is probably the opposite.' Nadal also spoke about his admiration for a friend and NBA star Pau Gasol: 'We know each other since long time ago, so for me is not a thing that the biggest star power is always coming to watch my matches.

The thing is that he is a good friend and that I am not able to watch him or to talk with him live a lot of times because we are in different parts of the world and travelling all the time. We are both sportsmen, and our life is sports.

So is good to know more about the different sports. And in general, I think he's a really fantastic person. He's a humble guy, a normal guy.
He's a big star in all the world, but seriously, he's really normal.' ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
