Sky Sports analyst Annabel Croft believes that Rafael Nadal will compete at the ATP Finals in London. The Spaniard withdrew from the Rolex Paris Masters due to an abdominal injury, but Croft is confident we will see the Spaniard in the year-end event. 'I actually think, if the knee is fit, which presumably it was because he was going to come to Paris, then this was just a bit more precautionary', said Croft. 'He didn’t want to do anything and turn the stomach unjust into anything that would have ruled him out.
I would say he is going to play the whole of the 02. There is still a lot at stake and a lot on the line. There is that intense rivalry he has got with Novak Djokovic. He is going to throw everything at this.' The former world no.
4 Greg Rusedski said: 'I’m not sure Nadal will play at the Tour Finals. He might play one match and then pull out. He’ll have had two weeks [off] and give it a try. But I’m not sure that he is physically ready.
He had the knee problem and then the stomach problem. Is he going to risk it? The tour would love to have him because he will be number two in the world. That’s my gut feeling of what’s going to happen. You’d love him to be healthy but I’m not sure he’s physically ready.' ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
