Rafael Nadal has a career-time deal with Babolat. In an interview, the Spanish player spoke about his working relationship with the French brand. "Relationship with Babolat has been great during all those years. I started playing with Babolat at the age of 11 or 12 years of age.
I have worked with different people but I have had a fantastic relationship with all of them. I really believe we worked in a good mood together and I am happy with everything. At the age of 15-16 years, I started playing with AeroPro and since the beginning, I have liked it, the feeling has been great and I knew I would have played with it.
It gives me the spin I need and at the same time, I feel ball control. In general terms, I need to feel the racket as an extension of my arm. It's not a difficult racket to play with so it's ideal for kids, the suited spot is big so I feel like everybody can play with this racket."
Alex Corretja leads the head to head meetings record both against Nadal and Federer. "That's unbelievable and also funny. They were younger but they had good results. Federer was coming from beating Sampras in Wimbledon, which was his breakthrough.
And Rafa had defeated Albert Costa in Monte Carlo, I had defeated him in Barcelona, he had defeated Carlos Moya in Hamburg and I won him in Madrid. It's good for history."
