Rafael Nadal has to be one of the most humble sports legends - Rubin

Noah Rubin praised Rafael Nadal. The American player, during the Spaniard's straight-set semifinal win over Matteo Berrettini, wrote on Twitter: "Rafael Nadal has to be one of the most humble legends of any sport."

Meanwhile Daniil Medvedev spoke about what people's perspective was toward him when he was younger: "It's tough to say because when you're young, you play in front of five people", he admitted. "Different.

There were many who would say, let's say, coaches or something, at the age of 16 or 14, I could get engaged during the match because I thought they, I don't know, clapped on a double-fault or something. I would scream on them.

They would scream on me. Many of these people would say, Okay, the guy is completely crazy, he's never be a good tennis player. Which is maybe happened to some of the tennis players. I'm glad I proved them wrong. Talk about reactions, they were totally different.

Some wanted to just help me get better. Some, as I say, said, Okay, who is this crazy guy and what is he doing on the tennis court? I've improved big-time. Hopefully I will improve even more." In order to guarantee that as many fans as possible come from 20 to 22 September at the Laver Cup in Geneva to watch Nadal and many others, on Thursday 19, in the Palexpo Arena in Geneva, a Open Practice event will be held.

From 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM doors are open, it only has a 20 Swiss Franc cost. It includes many sponsorship events and a big screen will be included. Many school guys will attend the Kids Day and hit with the superstars. Players will compete on a total black court in front of 15,000 fans. Swiss Tennis will put mini tennis courts and fans will be able to take photos with the Laver Cup trophy.
