Rafael Nadal spoke to Tennis Channel about his next plans following his Laver Cup win. "I need some rest, take some days off with the family and friends and then let's see when it's gonna be time to be back. But now it's time to enjoy this victory, for me it has been an amazing last month and a half.
I did not have too much time to enjoy because after New York I was completely destroyed for a week and then I came here straight away. So that's very positive energy and very special holidays." On his big celebrations with Roger Federer, the Mallorca native added: "We have our age, we appreciate each other so much, we understand all the things that we have been making together during all this very long career that we are having, so we really enjoy being part of this great atmosphere at the Laver Cup, share different opinions, different perspective of how we see the game.
It's great to have him on the team." The Swiss Roger Federer spoke about next year's Laver Cup: "I cannot wait to go to Boston and play there, it's gonna be great, crazy, I love playing in the States."
Lindsay Davenport said: "It was eight hours of drama and emotion on the final day, really what this event is about. There wasn't a lot of hope for the Team World going into this tie, maybe even going into this final day but those first two matches changed everything and they almost pulled off a big upset."
