Former world No. 4 Tomas Berdych would love to have back the 2010 Wimbledon final and compete again against world No. 1 Rafael Nadal for a maiden Grand Slam title. Berdych, who officially called it a career last week in London at the ATP Finals, made his maiden Grand Slam final at The All England Club in 2010.
Unfortunately for the Czech, he failed to deliver in the biggest match of his career as Nadal claimed a straight-set win 6-3 7-5 6-4 to lift the title at The Championships. Sasa Ozmo of Sport Klub caught up with Berdych while in London and when asked about what match he would love to play again, the Czech revealed: "I would love to again play the 2010 Wimbledon final."
Back then, Berdych claimed some huge wins en route to making the Wimbledon final as he beat record eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer in the quarterfinal and five-time champion Novak Djokovic in the semifinal, respectively.
When asked about what match he would love to experience again, Berdych said: "When it comes to the emotions from a match I would love to experience again, I would say that would be from the Wimbledon quarterfinal from the same year -- the win over Roger Federer."
