Rafael Nadal's coach Francis Roig praised the Spanish player's high quality memory in an interview to Pdb. The Barcelona native said: "There are players like Rafa who remember a 15-30 from a match of five years ago.
They are so focused and have so much intensity that remember everything better." Roig was also asked if he would like on-court coaching to be introduced on the ATP Tour: "People and fans would love it. As a fan I would like to know what the coach tells the player, it's interesting things that help so I see it as something possible."
On his career, Roig added: "I had many coaches, but I know very well who I learned something from and who I did not. I did not travel full time with my coach while now everything has changed a lot. During my career, I was working with my coaches for four days before a tournament."
Roig finally spoke about the upcoming match between Nadal and Diego Schwartzman: "The truth is that Schwartzman heads into the court convinced that he can beat anyone. He is a player who moves well and is very smart.
He hits good shots from all sides, he is not the typical player who you play on the backhand and you make him struggle. He is complete, sometimes he plays aggressive and sometimes defensive. He made Rafa's life complicated because they know each other a lot and also because they often trained together."
