World No. 1 Rafael Nadal insists he is completely locked in and focused on himself as he aims to win the Australian Open. During a second round clash on Thursday, Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios mimicked Nadal's service motion -- which made the chair umpire and fans laugh.
Both Nadal and Kyrgios claimed wins on Thursday and now they are a win away from meeting in the Australian Open round-of-16. When asked about Kyrgios mimicking his serve, Nadal played it cool and insisted it wasn't a big deal to him.
"I really don't care. I'm here to play tennis. I don't care at all. If it was funny -- good. That's it," Nadal claimed after beating Federico Delbonis in straight sets. The top-seeded Spaniard next faces fellow compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta.
On the other side, Kyrgios will have to make it past 2018 Paris Masters champion Karen Khachanov in order to make the fourth round at Melbourne Park. Nadal and Kyrgios have a bit of history and the Australian has proved in the past that he is capable of competing and beating the world No. 1.
