World No. 2 Rafael Nadal, of Spain, has posted a new message to his fans online as he tries to lift the spirits of his countrymen and his fans worldwide during the coronavirus pandemic. Nadal has been in quarantine himself during the lockdown and has been keeping his fans posted on what he has been doing while being indoors.
In the latest video, Nadal is seen working out and giving his fans a message of hope and positivity. In the video, the 19 time Grand Slam champion says, “Hello everybody. Here we are guys, tough times but we’re getting closer.
From today I’ve tried to make a change and stay positive counting the days that go by because less is left. Greetings everyone and cheer up. VAMOS!”

Nadal has not made an official comment yet on the cancelation of Wimbledon which was announced on Wednesday. As of now, all tennis tournaments scheduled till 12th July have been cancelled. Spain is one of the worst affected countries by the global pandemic.
The coronavirus pandemic death toll in Spain passed 10,000 on Thursday, as the country reported its highest number of deaths in a single day since the outbreak began. There were 110,238 infections reported as of Thursday.
