Serena Williams counts her 261st week at the top of the WTA ranking, passing fellow American Chris Evert, who stayed on 260. Thus, Serena is now third in the list that started in 1975, 71 behind Martina Navratilova in the second place.

She still has healthy lead over second ranked Angelique Kerber, the gap is 3545 points. Radwanska is now third, swithcing positions with Simona Halep, who drops to 4th. Belinda Bencic, 4th youngest player inside the Top 100, continues her climb towards the top of womens tennis, rising up to number 7 despite early loss in Dubai.
