ATP Rankings: Rafael Nadal stays 2230 points ahead of Roger Federer

The updated ATP rankings list didn't bring too much excitement, with only two small changes in the Top 20. Rafael Nadal is spending his 182nd week at the ATP throne, 2230 points clear of Roger Federer in second and that gap will remain the same in the next couple of weeks as well before the North American Masters 1000 events. Alexander Zverev remained 3rd, less than 300 points ahead of Juan Martin del Potro and with a chance for a change if Sascha fails to defend 500 points in Washington next week.

Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson is 5th, 45 points ahead of Grigor Dimitrov and the South African will try to extend that gap in Washington. Marin Cilic is the first player below the 4000-point mark and he stays 240 points clear of Dominic Thiem who has passed John Isner in the 8th and 9th.

Novak Djokovic returned to the Top 10 after winning Wimbledon and he can only go up from there, with no points to defend in the last four months. Bastad champion Fabio Fognini moves ahead of Jack Sock in the 14th and 15th, the last change in the Top 20 after three smaller events from the last week.

Umag champion Marco Cecchinato is the biggest mover in the Top 30, climbing to 22nd position for a career-high ranking and the other notable mover is Newport winner Steve Johnson who gained 14 places. David Ferrer is out from the Top 60 for the first time since May 2004 and the only new players in the Top 100 are Jordan Thompson and Viktor Troicki who hasn't played since Stuttgart.
