Lilian Marmousez had to save two match points in a thrilling 5-7 6-2 7-6 win over Santiago De La Fuente in two hours and four minutes before Harold Mayot took down Roman Burruchaga 6-3 6-2 to send France over the top before doubles win for a perfect day in the office.
In the other semi-final, Spain stunned Italy 2-0 to enter the first final since 2013 when they defeated South Korea to win the title. Mario Gonzalez Fernandez needed two hours and 35 minutes to oust Flavio Cobolli 7-6 5-7 6-4 and it was Carlos Alcaraz Garfia who delivered the crucial point for Spain after a 7-6 6-2 triumph against Lorenzo Musetti to secure the place in the final.
The USA Fed Cup squad will try to win the third title in the last five years (they lost two finals) following a 2-0 win against Slovakia. Alexa Noel had to work hard after losing the opening set but once she found her range it was all over, scoring a 1-6 6-0 6-0 victory against Nina Stankovska in an hour and 34 minutes.
The Roland Garros champion Cori Gauff was pushed to the limits in the second rubber versus Romana Cisovska before she forged a 6-2 6-7 6-4 win in two hours and nine minutes to push the USA over the top and into the fifth straight Junior Fed Cup final.
It will be a clash between the USA and Ukraine for the title, with the European team reaching their first Fed Cup final following a 2-1 win over Russia. Lyubov Kostenko toppled Polina Kudermetova 6-1 6-2 to kick off the action for Ukraine and it was Dasha Lopatetskaya, world's leading player born in 2003 who ousted Oksana Selekhmetova 6-3 6-3 in an hour and 28 minutes for her fifth singles win in five days.
