Jannik Sinner is living a not very satisfying season on the court, between disappointing performances and continuous physical problems. The talented Italian tennis player should be Carlos Alcaraz's counterpart, in what should be oilm post Roger Federer-Rafael Nadal.
The Italian has had the chance to face Novak Djokovic and Nadal throughout his young career, he has always lost with both, but his biggest dream is to find Federer on the other side of the net. Sinner, during an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, explained he would like to face Roger soon: "With the talent he has, Roger can always surprise.
I would like to face him before he retires, he is the only one of the Big Three that I miss, I played with Nadal and Djokovic."

In the same interview, Sinner explained: "It would be great: I will tell my grandchildren in the mountains, in front of the fireplace.
The best seem to be in trouble but the truth is that Nadal has won the Australian Open and that Djokovic, who has chosen not to be vaccinated and has played so far shortly, it will regain its shape in view of Paris. I don't know if we're ready for a turnaround but I'm certainly lucky to be there in the leading group.
It's a fun tennis to play and, I think, to watch." Roger Federer played his last official match at Wimbledon on July 7th. On that occasion, specifically in the quarter-finals against Hubert Hurkacz, the Swiss champion appeared in great physical difficulty and lost in three sets.
A few weeks after the hard defeat he suffered at the Championships, Federer has decided to undergo another operation to try to resolve or at least improve the condition of his right knee. The Swiss returned to training a little less than a month ago, and on his Instagram account he showed his fans some of the work he did in the gym.
Federer also announced that he will participate in the 2022 Laver Cup and the ATP 500 tournament in Basel, scheduled for October 24-30. It is still unclear whether the 20-time Grand Slam champion will attend other events before teaming up with Rafael Nadal in London for the fifth edition of the Rod Laver exhibition tournament.
