Evert confessed Federer is the only one that makes her cry
Chris Evert sent Roger Federer a video message telling him that he is her favorite player and the only player that makes her cry when he loses.
"Hi, Roger! It's Chrissie. I think I've dreaded doing this video for a long time because it means you are going to retire, but I just want you to know that I appreciate how nice you were to my boys in their early years when you always came out of the locker room to say hi to them.
I just want you to know, along with the beauty of your game, what impressed me the most was that you were such a great sport both on and off the court. Win or lose, you were just so gracious and a gentleman. You know you are my favorite player.
You always have been my favorite player, and you know you are the only player that I cry when you lose. So those two things are important to me. Anyway, good luck to you and be happy," Chris Evert says in the video. Watch the video here: Chris Evert confesses Roger Federer that he is the only one that makes her cry.
Apart from Federer, Evert also recently reacted to Frances Tiafoe's US Open run to the semifinals. "You made us PROUD, Frances Tiafoe, and you WILL win the US Open one day," Evert wrote on Twitter.
