"I would like to ask Maria Sharapova what feelings she felt when she won her first Grand Slam tournament at 17 years old, at Wimbledon. Then I would like to know other things, but the first thing would be to know what she felt after winning Wimbledon in 2004.

People might think that I'm following her path and doing the same things as her, but personally I'm not focused on that. I have my own career and my own life. I will do my best to have a great career," explained the young Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva in an interview given to Claytenis, a few months ago.

The sixteen-year-old is climbing the WTA ranking with excellent performances and, despite her young age, she has already shown enormous potential. Many have compared her precociousness on a tennis court with that of her legendary countrywoman Maria Sharapova, certainly an idol for the young Mirra.

However, Andreeva revealed who her favorite tennis player of all time is, naming Roger Federer.

In a Q&A session with fans, one user asked the Russian who her favorite tennis player is. Reposting her response to her Instagram stories, Andreeva wrote: "Roger Federer has always been number 1."

Returning to the interview with Claytenis of last September, Andreeva had also expressed her opinion on the popularity achieved in the world of tennis and on the relationship with her fans.

"Sometimes it's a bit uncomfortable. Many people ask me for a photo after matches. I don't want to say no because they support me and encourage me. I can't say no and leave, but it's true that I can't spend too much time with them because I need to rest and do my thing," she explained.

In the meantime Mirra's number 1 Roger Federer will be the protagonist of a documentary

Amazon Prime is working to make a documentary on Mirra Andreeva's number 1, the Swiss Maestro Roger Federer. The biopic will focus on the final days of Federer's career at the 2022 Laver Cup.

The work also aims to tell about Federer's private life, with an interview also with his wife Mirka.

"It's a snapshot of my life during those 12 days, explained Roger Federer in an interview with Bloomberg, which were hard and interesting. I never allowed anyone to enter my private life, but here they had l access to the hotel and therefore it is a very personal documentary and also reflects the relationship that exists and exists between the tennis players on the circuit. It is a very personal film. It also involves analyzing in depth another aspect of the tennis tour. There are rivalries, but off the pitch there are also friendships and respect," explained Roger.

The documentary will be the first to feature Federer, who won 20 Grand Slam titles between 2003 and 2018. It should be emphasized that the documentary does not tell the complete story of his life or career but only the moments of those days at the Laver Cup also remained engraved in the memory of all tennis fans also for the photo that portrays the emotion shown by Federer and Nadal, long-time rivals who have also become friends over time.

The documentary also contains interviews with Federer's main opponents in his career: Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. The production company aims to release the film in July around Wimbledon, a tournament Federer has won eight times, but the exact release date has not yet been officially set.

Meanwhile, in recent days, Roger enjoyed a holiday in Thailand, and the 20-time Slam champion decided to share several moments of his holiday on social media. While his two main rivals throughout his career - Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal - flew together on the same plane from Europe to California to begin preparing for the ATP Master 1000 in Indian Wells which begins on March 6, The Swiss Maestro was in a completely different part of the world.

In recent days Roger has published glimpses of his Thai holiday through several photos. Among these photos, there was one in which he posed wearing a traditional hat.

And yet other images in which he enjoyed traditional local food. But the main curiosity of Roger Federer fans was captured by a particular video that he published and which soon reached impressive numbers of views, in which he is on board a tuk tuk, a particular means of transport used mainly in the countries of Southeast Asia. A sort of three-wheeled taxi.
