Meanwhile, the Davis Cup facebook page has published the photo of a young Roger Federer as part of their #TBT (Throw Back Thursday) post.

The picture shows a very young Federer with a ball in his hand, appearing straight-faced and thoughtful for the camera. Of course, his love and brilliance with the ball was not just limited to tennis courts. He was good at other sports too.

"He always had a ball with him, even on the way to school," Stauffer writes. The above picture explains that. A Swiss radio commentator once said: “Federer is like the little dog next door.
