Jeremy Chardy is a big name is tennis world himself. But for him, Roger Federer is 'The Big Name'. In an interview with Daily Mail, 27-year-old Chardy revealed that he would be rapturous to partner the Swiss for doubles, besides calling him a Good Samaritan.
"That would be Roger Federer," Chardy answered, when asked about any player of his choice with whom he could team up in doubles with any player from history. "He’s my favourite player, such a nice person and I love the way he plays," he added of Federer, who moved up to number two in the latest world rankings, following his Shanghai Masters triumph.
(Rankings) When inquired about him encountering a funny question by an interviewer, Chardy said: "This year in Roland Garros I was asked how I would like to die. I really didn’t expect that question. I wasn’t prepared for it at all and have never thought about it before." Chardy is currently ranked 34th in the world, and is currently playing at the If Stockholm Open.
