It will be a very important last part of the 2017 season for Roger Federer. The Swiss player will play four tournaments during 40 days: Shanghai (9-15 October), Basel (23-29 October), Parigi Bercy (30 October-5 November) and ATP World Tour Finals in London (12-19 November).
For the Asian and indoor European hard-courts season the Swiss has choosen a clear purple t-shirt, which perfectly suits to black shoes and shorts. He may first wear it already at the Rod Laver Cup, team exhibition event that will take place from 22 to 24 September.
The 19-time Grand Slam champion, who was 1,960 points less than the World No. 1 Rafael Nadal in the ATP Rankings, will need to try to go as far as far as possible in every tournament he plays. Having skipped the whole second half of 2016 season, Federer can earn up to 4,000 points, which could still not be enough to be back at the top of the rankings as Nadal only defends 100 points by Beijing until the end of the year.
Federer will bid to win his second Shanghai and Paris Bercy title, the eighth one in Basel, the seventh in London.
