2018 Hopman Cup has been a success. For the second year in a row, Roger Federer played alongside Belinda Bencic. Team Switzerland won the title beating Germans Alexander Zverev and Angelique Kerber.

106,424 visited Perth Arena during the event, which is an absolute record in the 30-year tournament history. Also, a further 5,688 attended Federer's open training session with the local hero Thanasi Kokkinakis before the event started.

Thursday, January 4 was a historic day for the event, as a record 14,029 fans attended the tie between Switzerland and America, made up of Coco Vandeweghe and Jack Sock. Federer tagged Hopman Cup and mentioned Perth in his posts on social media several times, getting a very big amount of interactions.
