Roger Federer has a varied diet. Probably the most interesting thing about the Swiss player and the way he eats is that two hours before every match, he enjoys a plate of pasta with light sauce.
Federer, who became a Barilla ambassador just one year ago, has spoken about it in Indian Wells. On the day of his semi-final against Borna Coric, he had eaten pasta before the start of the match. 'In the juniors, we had that all the time,' he said.
'We play three matches a day. It was normal that you would eat and go out and play. You couldn't digest the food sometimes. Things change. That's who we are, the tennis players.' Federer also eats bananas or snack bar during matches, ice creams (especially when he played the Rome Open) and is also a lover of Italian, Japanese and Indian restaurants.
