Borna Coric experienced firsthand how it felt to compete against Roger Federer, with winning chances. In Indian Wells, in March, the Croatian led by a set-and-a-break, but then something changed.
'It was a great match, I was playing the best tennis of my life,' Coric told Sky Sport. 'I was really enjoying the moment, it was a full stadium, I was living a dream in that set-and-a-half. Then, unfortunately, he played very cleverly, he changed his tactics a little bit.
In the third set I was leading by a break, and missed a very close shot to go up 5-3 but that's tennis and I accept it. He was the better player and that's why he (has been) the no. 1 in the world. In my opinion that day he didn't play very well, but he did found a way to win.' Coric also said he spends free time with friends, drinking wine and eating sweets.
He doesn't play other sports, he likes to rest. ALSO READ: Borna Coric reveals miraculous therapy to recover from injuries
