There will definitely be much interest on Roger Federer's comeback to competition. Not only because the Swiss last played two months and a half ago at the Miami Open in March, but also because he will use a remodelled type of his Wilson ProStaff R97 Autograph racket.
Since the 2017 season, Federer has been using a black racket, but now starting on July 1, Wilson is expected to share on the market a "timeless black & white colour combination”, and Federer is set to be the best ambassador to promote it. The biggest difference is that the iconic frame changed, featuring classic white accents.
The 15-year-old Romeo Beckham, David's son, is already using this racket. 'I’m so excited to unveil the new Pro Staff RF97 Roger Federer Autograph racket', Romeo wrote on Instagram.
