The former world no. 1 doubles player Peter Fleming believes Grigor Dimitrov has been influenced by the comparison made between him and Roger Federer by media and fans. Speaking on BBC, Fleming said that the Bulgarian was influenced mentally.
'It certainly is and that pressure has worn on him a bit in recent years,' Fleming said. 'It has affected his results but it appears to have made him a better man. Maybe now is the time he can use his platform at the top of the game He is climbing the rankings every year so maybe now he can make that springboard.' Fleming also believes Wimbledon may be the best chance for Dimitrov to get the highest success: 'If he is to push through and win his first Slam you would think that grass would be the surface.
He is such a great mover on this surface and probably has more confidence here than any of the others.' Source: Express ALSO READ: Roger Federer's chances at Wimbledon: Novak Djokovic gives verdict
