Marin Cilic feels that only one obstacle can prevent Roger Federer from dominating on grass even at Wimbledon: the speed of the surface. The Croatian player noted that something is different this year on grass, although the Swiss managed to claim his first title in Stuttgart and reach the Halle final.
Cilic was, however, impressed by Federer, who stopped competing for 10 weeks: 'First of all, he was out since Miami. Didn't play. And then, you know, in last year he hasn't played any of the tournaments two weeks in a row, one in Stuttgart and also in Halle. The grass is, I think, I feel just watching from TV that it's a little bit faster, not easy also to play. If you lose focus couple points, it can go badly. But, still, he's playing quite all right.'
