Roger Federer picks the best three wins of his career

What are Roger Federer's best wins in career? The 37-year-old recently answered this question in a recent press conference. The Basel native won a lot of matches in his career, but he said: 'The 2009 French Open final is definitely one of them, but for some reasons, I had to add the 2007 Wimbledon finals as well when I won my fifth consecutive title and 2009 final against Andy Roddick, which marked my Grand Slam titles record.

These last two matches have something incredible. Borg and Sampras were sitting just there and all my idols were there. There was a tense atmosphere because of the Grand Slam titles record. In the end, managing to get a good end like in the Cenerentola fairytale was fantastic.' Federer also admitted he was surprised by all the successes he got during his career: 'I never thought I would play a good tennis.

I had to work really hard. Sometimes it doesn't seem like this because I have a very flat game and I get many congratulations. But I worked a lot and there is no way to get to the top without making sacrifices.' Commenting on his fanbase worldwide, Federer added: 'All this support impresses me but I like it a lot.

It's beautiful to be a role model for everyone but as a kid, I had some idols.' This year Federer won four titles so far: Australian Open, Rotterdam, Stuttgart and last week in Basel defeating Marius Copil. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
