Last week a video featuring Roger Federer hitting with one of his twins, Leo or Lenny, went viral on the social networks. Federer explained that his children regularly take lessons. 'Often the four kids and I manage to play a few times per week', said Federer.
'When we are travelling we don‘t force it if we are in Shanghai or Tokyo and I am very busy or there are no courts around, we will not force it. Last time I played with them was the day after the Djokovic match, all four kids had practice this day, so I went over and played with them all.' Analyzing how his season went, Federer added: 'I am happy with this season, if somebody would have offered me to play like this last year, I‘d have signed it, would u have told me in 2016 when I was injured, I‘d play like this, I’d have celebrated, would u have told me 4 or 5 years ago, I‘d have taken it.' 'Dominating the field isn't very easy.
I think it's really only Novak [Djokovic] at this point [who] is the only person who can say, 'If I play as well as I have the last few months, maybe I can also win the World Tour Finals.' But not even that is given, because, especially over the best-of-three-sets matches indoors, margins are slimmer, so you can slip fast.'
