German tennis player Peter Gojowczyk is looking forward to clashing against his idol Swiss Roger Federer at the BNP Paribas Open. Gojowczyk, 29, and 37-year-old Federer are set to meet in the Indian Wells Masters second round.

The German beat Italy's Andreas Seppi in the first round to set up a clash against former world No. 1 Federer. The Swiss, seeded at No. 4 in the Indian Wells main draw, had a first-round bye at the tournament. Gojowczyk ranked at No.

85 in the world, and record 20-time Grand Slam champion Federer will be meeting for the second time in their respective careers whey they meet in Indian Wells. The first meeting between the two players came at the Western & Southern Open last year.

Back then, Federer claimed a 6-4 6-4 win over Gojowczyk in the Cincinnati Masters second round. It won't be easy for Gojowczyk against Federer this time as the Swiss had a perfect preparation for the Indian Wells Masters.

The Swiss won it all at last week's Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships to win his 100th title. Federer, a five-time Indian Wells champion, will now certainly be motivated to continue his fine form and win another title on the hard courts of Indian Wells. It remains to be seen can Gojowczyk cause a major upset and beat Federer this Sunday.
