Former world No. 1 Roger Federer and Japanese tennis star Kei Nishikori are both satisfied with their Uniqlo Roland Garros outfits as they are motivated to have a good campaign at the second Grand Slam of the season. Federer, 37, is set to return to the French Open as he hasn't played on the clay courts of Roland Garros since 2015.
The Swiss, who is set to make his 18th appearance at the French Grand Slam event, will be wearing a Uniqlo outfit for the first time at the tournament as he split with Nike last year. Federer has had success at the French Open but he has captured only one title at Roland Garros as he is also a four-time runner-up at the tournament.
On the other side, world No. 7 Nishikori enters the French Open eager to make a splash. The 29-year-old enters every major tournament with high ambitions as he has made it clear that winning a Grand Slam title is on top of his wish list.
The Japanese twice made the quarter-final at the French Open, in 2015 and 2017 respectively. It remains to be seen how far will Federer and Nishikori go at Roland Garros this year.
