In an interview to EFE, Rafael Nadal' uncle Toni previewed the upcoming Wimbledon semifinals match between Rafael and Roger Federer. "I see Rafael capable of winning. I think all the matches were very high level. With Kyrgios he dropped a bit in the second set, but you know that the Australian serves very well and gives you no rhythm.
And yesterday, a very high level too. Everything goes very well. He served very well against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and on Wednesday too. The backhand was good all the time, but with the forehand too. I heard that the balls are slower, but yesterday's rival was broken only once (previously) in the tournament but Rafa broke him six times.
Federer is a very difficult opponent, he is a grass-court Specialist and it will not be easy, but I see Rafa holding a sufficient level to beat him. Federer always serves very well and when he plays fast it's difficult to deal with him."
On the 2008 Wimbledon final between Nadal and Federer, Toni concluded: "I remember it always with many nerves. It was the match that I lived with most nerves over all those years. I knew that it was important for us."
"For Djokovic, to be only two Majors away from Rafael. For Rafael, to be just one away from Federer. For Federer, to win one more which would be decisive. For Bautista Agut, to win it would be a bomb. It's normal, all the matches are very important in making a step forward."
