Roger Federer will beat Rafael Nadal in four sets, says Halle Open chief

The Halle Open chief Ralf Weber made a prediction for the upcoming Wimbledon semifinals match between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Who will prevail? "Roger is the favorite. It's Wimbledon. That's my opinion even before the tournament started.

I think Roger will win in four sets", said Weber. Asked if Nick Kyrgios will ever play in Halle, Weber replied: "At the moment we have no contract with him. At some point we will sign it. He is a very attractive player for crowd and television.

Sometimes I ask journalists what players they would like to see in Halle and they pick Nick. I will have to speak with his management team." Asked if Halle will become a Masters 1000, Weber concluded: "It should, maybe in the future.

Not next three or two years but maybe a decade. That would be a possibility. We are interested at it. We have a roof, hotel and all the facilities." On Halle courts, especially looking at the baseline, grass almost becomes clay in the final days.

But Weber sees no problem with it: "In Wimbledon it's exactly the same, also in terms of ball bounces. There is not a big difference. That's my point of view. All players say that this year's grass quality has been very high."
