Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are unlikely to play in Antwerp, says Norman

The Antwerp's European Open Tournament Director Dick Norman spoke about this year's field. "We really have a great line-up. Murray is famous all over the world and Goffin is very fit, he showed it against Roger Federer some days ago.

We have Monfils and Stan Wawrinka, who is a three-time Major winner, plus the former champions Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Richard Gasquet. It will really be a super tournament. Last year we were unlucky with Murray and Goffin's last minute injuries.

Now we are more lucky, some players are trying to reach the ATP Finals in London and it's an exciting time. It's very nice that Murray decided to pick this tournament on his way to the top. He re-started two months ago, he was still afraid about his hip and he was not playing that well.

But over the last two weeks he played like a top ten player again. Hopefully he gets far." Norman also said that Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are unlikely to play in Antwerp as they ask for too high appearance fees.

"Our draw is like an ATP 500 but the Big Three will not come anytime soon here. Last year we could only dream a draw like this and now we have it. We have also been selling many tickets over the last two weeks. In the weekend we will have sold out sessions. On Tuesday we have Murray, on Wednesday Stan Wawrinka, on Thursday David Goffin."
