The former WTA player Daniela Hantuchova believes that the younger players are reducing the gap from Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. That's why the Amazon Prime pundit believes they have to keep working hard in order to dominate tennis next year too.
"These three guys should have a pre-season together and set up a plan on how to keep the Next Gen guys away from them and keep the Grand Slam titles to themselves. I absolutely love the fact they are still around doing what they are doing for our sport.
At their age and with everything they have achieved is just break taking." Fellow pundit Greg Rusedski believes the success of the next generation will be important: "We have to bring new fans in. If you have a 21-year-old going on to win Wimbledon, Australian Open, US Open or something like that then all of a sudden he is known globally and becomes a superstar.
If the big three dominate again it is predictable and not necessarily good for our game." Rusedski finally praised Stefanos Tsitsipas: "When he was a youngster he nearly drowned and I think that put everything in perspective when you have something happen in your life which is quite defining.
That's why he has that honesty, character and that's why we love watching this guy because he is real and he has been through experiences and difficult moments in his life already." Federer will start his new season at the Australian Open while Nadal and Djokovic are both committed to the ATP Cup.
