Federer: 'I got close to win Wimbledon this year. I will try again in 2020'

In an interview Roger Federer spoke about possibly winning his 21th Grand Slam title. The Swiss player said: "I got very close at Wimbledon (losing to Novak Djokovic) and I want to win it again, but I would not be surprised to see new champions there.

I have some rivalries and it happens with this generation. Next year they may breakthrough which would be amazing because tennis would be in good hands. If Nadal, Djokovic and I do not take care of ourselves, there are chances that we get upset on every aspect", said the Swiss.

Asked who between a musician or athlete he would pay for to watch a performance, Federer replied: "Probably some musician. The music makes me happy..the sport too, but when I go to concerts is where I feel the happiest.

Sonetimes I think about the other things I would like to do when I retire and i think about going to a rugby world cup, NBA or NHL play-offs, a World Cup or Champions League match, a Formula 1 race... There are many things I cannot do and that are on my list. I want to do them. So I would probably go see a rockstar or someone from those sports."
