In an interview the Mextenis Director Raul Zurutuza said they would like to have Roger Federer also in the coming years after that the Swiss will play an exhibition match with Alexander Zverev on Saturday this week. Zurutuza said: "We have been having a very good relationship with his agent Tony Godsick for many years.
We ask him in an obsessive way when does he come to Acapulco and when can we bring him", said Zurutuza who also said they chose Plaza de Toros as a venue for the exhibition in order to set lower tickets prices and give a chance to everyone to attend the match.
Federer will hold a press conference on Saturday at 9:30 AM and then will train for two hours. At around 7:00 PM his match against Alexander Zverev should start. Federer earned $2.2 million to play an exhibition match in Mexico, and plus $10 million overall in South America.
"The exhibition formats are mode expensive with every player. It's not the same as it is in a tournament because there you start with an appearance fee and depending on how far you go, you earn more money. Roger is pretty simple, a very good person. There are some ATP players who are very hard with the organization things."
