85 Harris' great run at the Adelaide International from the beginning of the season. In Adelaide, Harris made his maiden ATP final as a qualifier before losing to Russian Andrey Rublev. The 22-year-old South African won a total of six matches in Adelaide but he ran out of the gas in the final as Rublev claimed an easy 6-3 6-0 win.
Federer himself experienced how it feels to play Harris last year when he met the rising South African star at Wimbledon. Record eight-time Wimbledon champion Federer struggled a bit early on in the match but eventually beat Harris 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-2 in his opener at The Championships.
"I think Lloyd Harris played great in Adelaide. I remember watching his semis and finals. I also played him at Wimbledon last year," Federer said in Cape Town, per Sport 24.
