finally came the moment of Match for Africa 6, the tennis charity event in Cape Town which will see the challenge between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. At the Cape Town Stadium, the Swiss Maestro and the Spaniard will clash in what will be a great show, awaited by the whole world of sport for the enormous resonance that it had in recent months.
The event will raise funds for the Roger Federer Foundation's projects to support the education of African children. This match-show between Federer and Nadal could make a new crowd record for a single tennis match, and it could exceed that set by the performance between Federer and Zverev in Mexico City in front of over 42,000 people.
In fact, 50,000 are expected in Cape Town, and tickets sold out quickly in ten minutes as soon as they went on sale. In the afternoon, before the match, children will have the Learning Through Play session with Roger, followed by an open practice session and a press conference on the court that has been built on the Cape Town Stadium pitch.
The Roger Federer Foundation was also born to organize these experiences for children, in order to improve not only happiness and health in their everyday life, but also to develop skills such as creativity, engaged, lifelong lerners of tomorrow.
Learning Through Play offers a perfect contest to make children have this incredible experience. During this session Roger will do five activities with children (in preschool age from the informal settlement outside Cape Town): gross motor skills, home lenguage skills such as listening and speaking, life skills such as beginning knowledge and social well-being, general and perceptual skills such as fine motor skills and then perceptual skills.
