Tyson on Djokovic: 'The way he has beaten Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal is amazing'

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has repeatedly reiterated that he considers Roger Federer to be the greatest tennis player ever. However, the former World Heavyweight champion never hid his admiration for Novak Djokovic, capable of breaking Federer and Nadal's dominance after being less than the Swiss and Spanish for so many years.
The 17-time Slam champion also had to deal with some injuries, such as that in the elbow in 2017, which prevented him from performing at his best for several months. The Serbian phenomenon managed to return to the top by winning the title at Wimbledon in 2018, before winning the US Open 2018 and the Australian Open 2019.
Nole repeated the success in Melbourne this year, winning the only Major played so far. “Novak Djokovic is my favorite at the moment. If he is okay, I really like to watch him. He is my favorite because the way he has come back from injury and beaten guys like Nadal and Federer is amazing.
He is a true fighter,” said Tyson in an interview. On Roger Federer, Tyson added: “It’s fantastic that he plays at this level at this age! He is the greatest of all time”. Speaking about her daughter's involvement in tennis, Tyson said to a reporter in an interview that he always explains to his daughter, that if she really wants to do this, she should talk about and look upto (Novak) Djokovic and Serena Williams.
It was in December last year that Mike Tyson and Serena Williams were seen together in a boxing session at the Mouratoglou Academy.
