Noted photographer Radka Leitmeritz says Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer is 'perfect' and 'like a ballet dancer' The Czech photographer has been working on fashion photography for a very long time and has recently switched to taking photographs on the tennis court.
Speaking to the Baseline magazine, Leitmeritz says, “I love shooting Roger, he’s like a ballet dancer. He’s just so perfect, how he plays is very photogenic. For me it’s so amazing to be in the photographers’ pit, sometimes I’m thinking what the hell am I doing here."
Leitmeritz says Federer's Australian Open 2020 photo for the Racquet magazine as one of her favorite photos. Federer is widely considered to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time and is also known for his athleticism and his graceful movement on court.
He has won 20 Grand Slam singles titles in his career - more than any other male tennis player in history - including a record eight Wimbledon men's singles titles, six Australian Open titles, five US Open titles and one French Open title.
He is one of eight men to have achieved a Career Grand Slam. He is also the only player after Jimmy Connors to have won 100 or more career singles titles, as well as to amass 1,200 wins in the Open Era. The 38 year old Federer has held the world No.
1 spot in the ATP rankings for a record total of 310 weeks (including a record 237 consecutive weeks) and was the year-end No. 1 five times.
