Roger Federer reveals his kids' reaction to watching him play

Roger Federer will no longer take to the court in 2020, having decided to undergo a new knee surgery that will take some time to allow him to return to 100% fit. The Swiss champion will try to repeat the undertaking made in 2017, when he was able to win the Australian Open after remaining for six months away from the circuit.

Although the most recognized and popular tennis player in the world, Roger's four children cannot yet fully understand his greatness. His two daughters are now aware that their father is a tennis player, but still do not perceive his immense caliber.

The 38-year-old from Basel doesn't seem to mind too much.

His compatriot Marc Rosset has warned fans and professionals, asking them not to give up on a sample that too many times has already denied everyone. The Swiss player could also be subject to Rafael Nadal's attack at his 20 Grand Slam titles.

Thanks to the combination of his knee surgery and the global pandemic, 2020 will mark the first time in 20 years that Federer will not have progressed to an ATP Final. Federer holds the record for the most consecutive years reaching an ATP final, having made one every year since 1999 - beating Jimmy Connors’ record of 19 consecutive appearances.
