Grigor Dimitrov has wished his good friend Serena Williams lots of health and added he is rooting for her to succeed in whatever she chooses to do next. Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, is retiring after the Us Open.
Dimitrov, 31, has always had a good relationship with Williams and they are very good friends. "You know, I don't even know what to wish in the sense that her hands are in so many different opportunities, like businesses and everything like that," Dimitrov said in a video posted by the ATP.
"For me, all I can wish her is lots of health and like, enjoy what's gonna after that because I know what's ahead, we're such good friends and it's gonna be such an honor for me to go around the same path as you outside the court, and lot of beautiful moments ahead."

Dimitrov, Tiafoe pay their tribute to Williams
In the same video, American tennis star Tiafoe said Williams is the only reason why he is able to play tennis today.
Williams is often crediting for paving the way for Black athletes to succeed in tennis. Tiafoe is hoping he achieves at least a bit of Williams' accomplishments. "You're a true icon, you're not just a tennis player, you're the only reason I'm able to play the game.
So hopefully, I can have my name in the same sentence as you. If I have half the career, even a quarter of the career you had, I'd call that one hell of a career. So, thank you and I hope you enjoy your second chapter," Tiafoe said.
Meanwhile, Dimitrov also has a good relationship with Venus Williams. In a recent Q&A session with fans, Venus named Dimitrov as one of the three players she would invite over for a dinner. One of Dimitrov's best friends is retiring after the US Open but Venus hasn't made any official announcements regarding her plans.
