Serena and Venus Williams get paintings of them in National Portrait Gallery

Serena and Venus Williams got the honor of getting their own portraits in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. "To have a picture in the National Portrait Gallery alongside so many historical icons? Mind officially blown.

But to be inducted with your sister? Best feeling ever. Thanks Toyin Ojih Odutola for your vision of having a treasure smile. We need to see more of that. And Robert Pruitt what a sensational vision you had of Venus Williams," Williams wrote on Instagram.

"I literally only know one way to hold a trophy… UP! Here to being in the @smithsoniannpg," Serena also wrote on Instagram.

Reilly Opelka, fellow pro tennis player who is good friends with the iconic sisters, reacted to one of Serena Williams' latest posts.

"If there's anyone that knows how to hold a trophy, I think it's you," wrote Reilly Opelka.

Serena steps into art

Besides being inducted in the National Portrait Gallery and revealing that her painting focused on her "treasure smile", Serena also recently reviewed a piece of cinematographic art.

Serena Williams took the role of a movie critic on Tuesday, when she wrote a review of the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie set to appear in theatres on November 11, 2022. "I am a @marvel FANATIC. Back starting from the comics.

Black Panther @blackpanther hands down was and is the best marvel movie I have EVER seen. I cried. I cheered. I laughed. And I cried. It deserves and should win Oscar’s @im.angelabassett @badgalriri song- ties it all together.

Thank you Black Panther cast," Serena wrote on Instagram. Per IMDB, the storyline of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reads as follows: "Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from intervening world powers in the wake of King T'Challa's death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for their nation."
