Serena Williams' Alexis Ohanian catches deadly pufferfish

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian went fishing with "grandpa" and caught a pufferfish, a kind of poisonous fish that can be deadly if not cooked properly. "Started at sunrise this morning with Grandpa. (Don't worry we put the puffer back!)", Ohanian captioned the post showing their capture.

According to National Geographic, "almost all pufferfish contain tetrodotoxin, a substance that makes them foul tasting and often lethal to fish.

To humans, tetrodotoxin is deadly, up to 1,200 times more poisonous than cyanide. There is enough toxin in one pufferfish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote."

Ohanian recently taught daughter Olympia how to fish

A reel published by Alexis Ohanian at the beginning of March shows him attempting to introduce his daughter Olympia to fishing by helping her handle a rod.

The funny thing is Ohanian seems clumsy at fishing himself. As proof, in the reel, Ohanian helps Olympia drag the fishing line but no fish reaches the top of the water. The real rationale behind why Ohanian went fishing with Olympia despite his alleged lack of proficiency is to spend quality father-daughter time.

“I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm doing it with Her," Ohanian captioned the reel. Fans adored Ohanian's video. Here are just a few of the most popular reactions to his reel.

  • "Adorbs! She will always remember these moments.

    Keep up the good work!"

  • "She doesn't care. She's with her Poppa. That's all that matters."
  • "Beautiful memories for her when she gets older talking about her fishing trip with dad."
  • "The important thing is you and your daughter are experiencing it together."
