Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova has the chance to become the first woman after Venus and Serena Williams to win Wimbledon and the US Open back-to-back.
Vondrousova's game looked promising in the first week at the Flushing Meadows.

Marketa hasn't yet lost more than 3 games in any of her matches. After defeating Na-lae Han, Martina Trevisan, and Ekaterina Alexandrova, Vondrousova has to beat Peyton Stearns to earn a place in the quarters.
Vondrousova doesn't think she can win US Open
To keep pressure off, the Wimbledon champion revealed she doesn't believe in another Grand Slam title.
"Yeah, at least I have one, so it's good. Yeah, for me, I never, like, want to think I can win another. I feel like it's just too much pressure for me if I think that, if I start think about it before tournament, or if I'm in the tournament.
Yeah, I just learned to keep the pressure off, like tell myself it's just a tennis match, it's nothing else. I feel like that really helps me when I'm maybe down in my match or something. I'm just thinking it's just a tennis match, it's nothing else.
I don't know if it's a good thing or no, but it really helps me. I feel like for me it's a good sign," Vondrousova said. "I mean, definitely more media (smiling). Yeah, I mean, I just want to stay focused on practice and everything around.
Yeah, I get bigger courts now, so that's a nice change. Yeah, I feel like you just have to stay in your head and stay focused. It's definitely more pressure and more people are talking about you. Yeah, I just want to enjoy the matches and we'll see what's going to happen," Vondrousova said.
