Her first WTA Finals crown also secured her the year-end No.1 singles ranking for the second consecutive season," the WTA said in a statement. Swiatek faced challenges throughout 2023 but she still managed to achieve notable success and finish the season as the top-ranked player in the women's game.

Currently, Swiatek is preparing for the 2024 season. After the offseason is done, Swiatek will kick off her 2024 season by representing Poland at the United Cup. Earlier this year, Swiatek's Poland made the United Cup semifinal before losing. It remains to be seen if Swiatek can start the new season by leading Poland to the United Cup title.
