Former player-turned-coach Justin Gimelstob believes that Serena Williams shouldn't play doubles at Wimbledon. At the French Open, the American player reached the third round in doubles and then she was forced to withdraw in singles, which Gimelstob would not like to see again.

'I am bullish on her chances of winning. But please Serena just don’t play doubles. I think the draw is a key factor but I think there are other power players who have a better chance of winning Wimbledon than Serena does,' Gimelstob said.

Tracy Austin said: 'The key here is seeding. Now is Wimbledon going to go outside of the box and give Serena a seed? She is somewhere in the 200s in the rankings but she has won it seven times. I think it would be good for Serena to be seeded and it would also be good for the other players as well.

I think the draw is very important.' Source: Express ALSO READ: Andy Murray surprises his fans, check details
