Father Time is catching up with Serena Williams, says Rennae Stubbs

Serena Williams plays fewer tournaments nowadays and when she heads into the tennis court, a lot of expectations are always put on her. "It’s becoming a little more difficult for Serena to finish off a match.

Emotionally, Serena has struggled in her two previous Grand Slam finals. Father Time catches up with everybody," said the former doubles player Rennae Stubbs. Meanwhile, the 18-time Grand Slam winner Chris Evert praised Naomi Osaka's success: "What fighter, what a competitor.

She’s still so young. She still has a lot to learn on and off the court”. Evert then added: "Women’s tennis is getting more and more like men’s tennis with the power and the [first-strike] strategy."

Evert commented on the Super Bowl participant Tom Brady, comparing his success to the 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer's. "It’s a dynasty! How can you not like Tom Brady? He’s the Roger Federer of football!" Stubbs added: "I’m going to say it out loud! I’m so over Tom Brady and Bill Belichick!! Yes, I said it!!" Speaking on Serena, Dayana Yastremska said: "I would not say that Serena Williams is my idol, but she is a tennis legend.

I played against her at the Australian Open and I still have a lot to learn. However, everyone has her own character so I try to be myself and I do not try to be like my idol."
