Through his official Instagram account, Serena Williams's coach Patrick Mouratoglou spoke about the American player's pre-season training. The Frenchman shared some intriguing ideas, as he wrote: "This December, I wanted to renew with the tradition of organizing a preseason team-building camp to prepare for the Australian Open.
Along with Serena Williams, we brought in a new generation of Mouratoglou players led by @cocogauff, @holgerrune and @nicholas_david_02, and we're happy to have ATP players @chris_eubanks96 and @marius_copil join us. We also invited A-list people from the worlds of sports and entertainment - heavyweight world boxing champion @miketyson, fitness superstar @shaunt and world-renowned DJ @bobsinclar.
We chose the idyllic setting of the @bocaresort to provide everyone with the best conditions to train, but also to share bonding moments through team sport activities such as triathlon, Bike & Run, diving or karaoke (I know some are looking forward to this one!) Follow all the action in real-time from tomorrow on.
That'll be fun!" Mouratoglou added: "Pre-season is the only time during the year when we can work on new things in order to add weapons to player's game. Serena always wants to improve, and that is one of the trademarks of the champions."
