Tennis - Serena Williams displayed her second collection at the New York Fashion Week on Wednesday at Spring Studios. The 23 time Grand Slam champion displayed fashion from her S by Serena line for her 2020 spring collection.
Williams was supported by best friend Caroline Wozniacki, who recently retired after playing her last professional tennis tournament, as well as Karlie Kloss and Andre Leon Talley. The 38 year old also met with fashion icon Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief at Vogue.
This was the second time that Serena has displayed her collection at the New York Fashion Week. She did the same last year in September after losing in the final of the US Open in New York to Canada's Bianca Andreescu.
Serena was the second tennis player to display her collection at the New York Fashion Week after another former World No. 1 - Naomi Osaka displayed her collection in New York on Tuesday by unveiling some of her own creations at the ADEAM show.
Recently, Serena lost in the third round of the Australian Open in Melbourne in January to China's Qiang. She was aiming to win her record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title in Melbourne to tie the all-time record held by Australia's Margaret Court.
After her loss in Melbourne, she was part of the American team for the Fed Cup that defeated Latvia to advance to the Fed Cup Finals in Budapest, Hungary in April.
