23 time Grand slam champion Serena Williams is partnering with Bella Canvas to supply 45,000 face covers to communities in need during the current global pandemic. Williams, along with Bella Canvas, will supply 45,000 face covers to communities in need.
The face covers will be made available free but people will have to pay shipping costs and handling fees. Serena posted an update on her Instagram account talking about the reasons why she decided to start the initiative. “So, with this practice of social distancing, we have to wear a mask to do all of our daily activities like going to grocery stores.
When I went to get a mask, I couldn’t find one. So If I couldn’t get one what about others? This is why I started this”. With social distancing the new norm, masks and face covers are likely to be around for a long time now - so Serena's gesture is surely appreciated.

The comfortable daily face cover is non-medical grade and intended for one-time use—the two ear holes and contoured shape fits most faces. Together, we can all do our part to protect the communities to which we belong.
