Serena Williams' Jewelry Collection By-My-Side!

Serena Williams is still looking for her 24th Grand Slam, the title that would finally allow her to equal Margaret Smith's record. The last four Grand Slam finals lost after maternity cannot and must not be a point of arrival.

Serena, really close to her 40 years-old, she still has the strength, determination, technique, will and athletic power inside to be able to get that goal she is still chasing. Serena ended her season by retiring from Roland Garros 2020 rescheduled at the end of September due to an Achilles tendon injury.

With the 2020 season now over, Serena is recovering and enjoying quality time with those who matter most. The 23-time Grand Slam champion is spending relaxing days with her daughter Olympia, and recently she launched an entire collection of jewelry inspired by her three-year-old daughter.

The By My Side collection ranges from diamond lock and key necklaces to matching mother and daughter stud earrings, with each piece celebrating their special love and bond. The jewelry designed by Serena herself, ranges from $ 85 to $ 875 for pairings of necklaces and more.

Serena Said: "Being a mom is very important, but also being a leader so that my daughter can look at me and say: This is what my mother did, I aspire to do it and I want to be better! It is really important to inspire the next generation because this is the future.

Let's move on, I'm so proud and inspired by the women who do it day in and day out. I'm proud to be this little girl's mom." On the Instragram post of the official page, you can read: "Introducing the By My Side collection by Serena Williams Jewelry.

It’s jewelry for the moms and daughters who love each other through the highs and lows, and everything in-between. Because life is better when you’re By My Side."

Serena's interview

Serena gave an interview to Vogue where she covered various topics.

Here are her statements: "As an athlete, entrepreneur, daughter, sister, wife and mother, I know that I can't always be perfect but the secret is to be prepared for what life has in store for us. This is every woman's success and every success should then inspire another.

We are stronger when we support each other. You know nothing about everyday life and in the end most people went to school less than the very young Greta Thunberg. No one can afford to judge and in this society no one expects women to be the leaders of the future or the CEOs of the future.

This story must change. For me I think it may not improve over time, but those in my position can show that we women and we people of color have a voice and God knows why I use this voice of mine. I love to defend people and especially to support women.

To be the voice millions of women don't have. When I was a girl, everything was different. I remember Venus and her physique that was considered "acceptable" by society, she had very long and thin legs while I remember that there were no people like me on TV, people so big There was no positive body image and I also think it was a different era."

Over the course of her career Serena Williams has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles out of 33 finals played and even 73 wins in 98 finals played. Serena Williams' dream is to equal the Grand Slam record of 24 that still belongs to Margaret Smith Court.
